1. About these terms
These terms explain how you earn and use golf points through Tee Switch in the CGD Golf app. They apply alongside the CGD terms of use, which cover your CGD account and points wallet. Corporate Golf Day is run by Corporategolfday.com Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17517464, whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.
2. What Tee Switch is
Tee Switch is an introducer. We don’t give advice or recommend products. Partners tell you their fees, the referral payment they make to Tee Switch and your golf reward before you agree to anything. Free golf is never conditional on buying a particular product. For insurance, Tee Switch is an introducer, not an insurer or broker. We introduce you to an authorised partner who will explain the cover, its cost and their status before you agree to anything. If you switch, the partner pays Tee Switch a referral fee. Part of it funds your golf points. It doesn’t change the price you are quoted.
3. How you earn golf points
- You get 50% of Tee Switch’s fee back as golf: 5 points for every £1 of the fee Tee Switch receives for your switch.
- 1 point is worth 10p of golf.
- Switches with a fee of £160 or more earn at least a fourball (2,000 points). So a switch with a fee from £160 to £400 earns a fourball, and a higher fee earns 5 points per £1.
- Points are paid only after a switch completes. Estimates shown in the app are typical, not guaranteed.
Examples
- A fee of £100 earns 500 points (£50 of golf).
- A fee of £160 earns 2,000 points (a fourball).
- A fee of £400 earns 2,000 points (a fourball).
- A fee of £500 earns 2,500 points.
In the app, 1,000 points is a two-ball and 2,000 points is a fourball.
4. Yearly cap
- You can earn up to 24,000 points (12 fourballs) a year through Tee Switch.
- The cap is per member. If several people from one business are members, each has their own cap.
- Only paid switches count towards the cap. Requests that are still in progress don’t. Points from accepted business enquiries (leads) do not count towards the cap.
- If a switch would take you over the cap, its points are reduced to the amount left for the year.
[to confirm: whether the year is the calendar year or 12 months from a set date]
5. Using and keeping your points
Tee Switch golf points go into your CGD points wallet, the same wallet used by CGD Golf and the Members’ Enclosure. Points expire 12 months after you earn them.
6. Your switch request
- Tee Switch gets in touch within 2 working days of your request.
- You can withdraw a request at any time until the switch completes. Withdrawn requests earn no points.
- Partners shown in the app are examples. The partner you are introduced to is named before your details are shared.
7. Your bill and your data
If you upload a bill, it goes to Tee Switch and the partner you are introduced to only, so they can prepare your quote. Uploaded bills are kept for 12 months, then deleted. You can delete your bill at any time: remove it before sending, withdraw the request, or email privacy@corporategolfday.com. To see or delete your data, email privacy@corporategolfday.com. Our privacy policy explains how we use your information.
8. Regulated services
Regulated services, such as pension and investment adviser switches and mortgages, stay unavailable in the app until the right approvals are in place.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Changes do not affect points already paid to your wallet. The latest version will always be on this page. Questions about Tee Switch or your points: support@corporategolfday.com.
