This policy explains the cookies and similar storage used on corporategolfday.com. The website is run by Corporategolfday.com Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 17517464, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.
What this website uses
This website does not set its own cookies. It uses analytics and advertising cookies from Google Analytics and LinkedIn only if you accept them on our cookie banner. It stores one small item in your browser’s local storage, called cgd_consent, which records whether you accepted or rejected analytics and advertising cookies and the date of your choice, so we do not ask you on every page. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so loading a page does not contact a font provider.
Videos
Our event videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play on a video. When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may then store information on your device and collect data as described in Google’s privacy policy . If you would rather not, do not press play.
Google Analytics (analytics cookies)
If you press Accept on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google. It measures how visitors use our website, such as the pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, and how visitors arrived at the site. Google Analytics may set cookies on your device (such as _ga and _ga_<ID>). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We have turned off Google Signals and ad personalisation. Google handles this data as described in Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services .
Google Analytics is not loaded unless you press Accept. You can withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
LinkedIn Insight Tag (advertising cookies)
We advertise on LinkedIn. If you press Accept on our cookie banner, we load the LinkedIn Insight Tag, a script provided by LinkedIn. It lets LinkedIn and us measure how our LinkedIn adverts perform and build audiences for our adverts. LinkedIn may set cookies on your device (such as li_sugr, bcookie, lidc and UserMatchHistory) and receive information such as the page you visited, your browser, your IP address and the time of your visit. We see only aggregated reports, not who you are. LinkedIn uses this data as described in LinkedIn’s cookie policy and LinkedIn’s privacy policy .
These cookies are not set, and nothing is sent to LinkedIn, unless you press Accept. If you press Reject, or make no choice, the tag is not loaded.
Forms
When you send a form on this website, the details you enter are sent to us through our website host, Netlify. This does not set a cookie. How we use those details is set out in our privacy policy.
Managing cookies
You can change your mind at any time: choose Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and press Reject. Google Analytics and the LinkedIn tag will then stop loading. Cookies Google and LinkedIn have already set stay on your device until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
