Start of the golf season

We recently had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable day of golf at the renowned Gailes Links. With a turnout of 36 enthusiastic participants from various businesses, the event was a vibrant gathering of golf aficionados. Despite a few unexpected dropouts due to unforeseen circumstances, the day was marked by remarkable camaraderie and exceptional golfing.

Exceptional Venue, Exceptional Weather

Gailes Links, known for its status as an Open Qualifier venue, presented us with its finest condition. Despite the grim weather forecasts and a rather wet journey for some, we were greeted with perfect, dry conditions on the course and blue skies for the majority of the day. This stroke of luck added a special touch to our event, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

A Welcoming Club with a Personal Touch

The smaller, more intimate setting of Gailes Links, with its traditional clubhouse and focus on the essence of golf, made for an ideal venue. From the seamless check-in process to the attentive and warm welcome by all the club staff, including a personal introduction from the General Manager, our guests felt valued and well-cared for. The venue's excellent facilities, including a grass range included in the day's activities, added to the overall satisfaction of our attendees.

A Day of Competitive Fun and Fellowship

Starting our tees later than usual, at 11:15 am, allowed for a leisurely morning but also sparked conversations about optimal event timing. Nevertheless, the spirit of competition was high, and the good humor amongst our Scottish friends brought lively and enjoyable banter throughout the day. Although the Scottish crowd was described as a "ragtag bunch," their enthusiasm and enjoyment were unmistakable, contributing to the day's success.

Feedback and Future Prospects

Our efforts to engage our guests with giveaways and encourage reviews were met with a mixed response, but this has not deterred our spirit. We remain dedicated to enhancing our events and are pleased to see our overall score climb to 4.5 on Trustpilot, a testament to our commitment to delivering quality experiences.
